The Hogan Avenue Park Public Art piece is a community engagement and creative placemaking project. Cbabi Bayoc will guide teen and adult residents (ages 14+) to create a public art piece for the neighborhood park that will be an expression of their ideas and community spirit. We hope to make a lasting statement in the park about the importance of family in their community. Residents will be involved in all stages of the project from sharing their ideas to participating in the creation of the piece. They will receive art instruction from a highly respected St. Louis based artist as part of the project development.
